As a follow-up to the Passing the Baton workshop at the ACSI California Administrator Conference at Yosemite last February, a number of schools have registered their faculties to receive the training just prior to the kick-off of the 2008-09 school year. We are happy to announce that Dr. Jeff Meyers will be providing this training in three Southern California locations:

• Friday, August 22, New Venture Christian School, Oceanside, CA
• Wednesday, August 27, Vista Assembly of God, Vista, CA
• Thursday, August 28, Lakewood Christian Schools, Long Beach, CA

The Passing the Baton one-day workshop has been delivered to 345 Christian schools plus churches, homeschool groups and community service organizations since its inception in 2005. It’s a fast-paced, multi-media seminar that uses teaching, discussions and video clips to equip adults to personally mentor and coach the next generation of culture-shaping leaders. The seminar ignites enthusiasm and mobilizes concerned adults. It’s both inspirational and practical—participants develop a personalized plan for influencing young people in a natural and fun way.
