Group / Student Insurance

Insurance programs that member schools may wish to investigate are available from ACSI. Of particular interest are policies that deal with professional liability for teachers and administrators, and student accident insurance, which is an essential element of any school program.

Regional Newsletters

The Northwest Newletter is now sent electronically bi-monthly from the Northwest Regional Office of ACSI. One of the characteristics of the new E-Newsletter is the ability to reference items on our website. Readers will find enhanced news items that provide in-depth information about a variety of topics. Newsletters contain information about the services, schedules, opportunities, schools, people, events, and issues of the Association and the region.

We invite you to contact us via email if you are not receiving the E-News of the Northwest. Send your email message and request to roger_norrie@acsi.org.

Legal / Legislative Assistance

Three levels of assistance are available to schools in this area. Local questions may be able to be successfully addressed by the regional office staff.

Mr. Burt Carney, Director of Legislative Services at the Colorado Springs headquarters office, is the second level of help available to inquirers.

Finally, the ACSI Legal Hotline may be utilized by member schools who face legal challenges requiring intervention by an attorney who is uniquely trained in the realm of Christian school law.

Higher Education Services

The Northwest Region Higher Education Task Force meets bi-annually to monitor how ACSI and higher education institutions may collaborate together to provide services to the region, especially in the area of professional development.

Urban School Services

Dr. Vernard Gant
, Director of Urban School Services, Colorado Springs, CO, heads this newly designed initiative of ACSI.

The goal of ACSI is to place a viable Christian school in each of the 500 identified urban centers of the United States. Providing these schools and this service is the key to unleashing the potential that rests within the minority communities of these urban centers.

Curriculum - Products / Consultation

Member schools enjoy a discount when ordering materials from our product catalogue. Call the NW Regional office at 360-256-5860 for information about how you can access this service.

In addition, professional consultation is available for schools that have questions regarding curriculum design, program development, or school leadership.
